Stelios Foustalierakis (Foustalieris) Born in 1911 in Rethimnon. He practiced the "boulgari", a mandolin like instrument, which he helped recognizing as a melodious instrument fit for solo performances. He was influenced by "rebetika" songs during his stay in Piraeus.
